A message from spirit...

A message from Spirit: It is all about darkness and light. They seem to not be able to exist, one without the other. However, what you need to know is that the light always shines brighter than the darkness. The light in you magnifies when shared with others. The light grows brighter. The darkness cannot get darker. But the light can always magnify into tremendous brilliance.

Be careful with your inner light. Grow it bright and then share it with others. Everyone needs more light right now. We all need to feel hope and experience the light to remind us of who we really are. We are loving creatures who were made to care for and love one another. We accept each other and support one another. We are not a competitive species. We are a cooperative species. Darwin was wrong in this matter, as it is widely understood. We are social creatures. We help each other. You can see this in the animal world as well and plants and trees, for that matter. One species will often help another. It is the true way of the world and of Mother Earth. It is how we were constructed to live.

We have forgotten and those in power have wanted to make us out to be angry, hateful, messy creatures who opt for war. This is not who we really are. This is not who you are. You are the one who picks up a rose and offers it to your loved one. You are the one who stops to help a bee or puts out food for the birds in winter. You are the one who helps a person by opening the door or holding the elevator. All of these things show your true inner kindness.

How do we feel when we are in service to one another? We feel great. We feel important. We feel useful. How do we feel when we are in judgment? When we say we are a victim? When we blame others? Something to think about. Where do you want to live? In the darkness with hatred, blame, and judgment or in the light with kindness, peace, and love? It is a choice we make every day in how we act, what we say, and how we show up in the world.

There may seem like there is a lot of darkness but again, I call out to you that this is just to wake up those individuals who are still lost in the darkness and need to get so tired of it, that they begin to seek the light. That is why we need you and those reading this post to share your light. Protect your light because as soon as those others wake up, they will need to find your light. Welcome them with open arms. Do not judge. Your path has been different from theirs. Choose love and acceptance. Choose to be cooperative and kind.

Kindness matters as it is how we show and share our light. The acts of kindness show others who is bringing the light. We need every light bringer with their light on full blast. Pretend you are a lighthouse shining brightly day and night for others to find you and seek out light. They need to realize that there is much more to this world than just darkness. And you can be the one to help them—even if it’s just one person. If we each did that, we would reach the tipping point overnight. Be the light. Be the hope. Choose kindness. It matters so much more than you know.

On this Easter Sunday, commit to 3 acts of kindness, however that looks to you. Perform 3 acts of kindness and watch yourself light up as well as those around you. Light begets light. This is how we change the world one day at a time. Go in peace. Go in love. We, on this side, are all cheering you on. We love you. Namasté.
